The big picture: Warrant that your personnel researches, analyzes, evaluates or plans security and risk management controls, participates in the development of the information security program or monitors program compliance; develops and provides or manages delivery of security awareness training; and invest in the details of or leads incident/breach management and response.

Why it matters: Be certain that your company is serving in a cybersecurity support function to include researching, drafting, developing, and submitting solutions for IA/IT policies, guideline, and standard operating procedures.

On the flip side: Check that your staff provides expertise/analysis for the management/implementation of budgets, forecasts, and resource planning strategies in support of the (internal) client engagement.

Go deeper: Interface so that your operation is aiding in training and awareness activities using effective instructional skills and multiple methodologies and strategies to address different learning styles.
